Heart To Hand Institute is the legacy of a dedicated man who worked all his adult life to take care of orphan children. Orphan himself, Peter knew what this life is and wanted to give them a better chance. He rescued orphaned and disadvantaged children and gave them what they lacked the most, which is love, along with plenty of important life skills. He now is on a mission to empower thousands of children, through the organisation, truly impact their lives and give them a chance to reach their highest potential.
Heart To Hand Institute is a community based organization founded by a Canadian woman with a lifelong dream of helping African kids! She was inspired by Peter's dedication and kindness and decided to join forces to bring the Ugandan kids’ lives to new heights. Leveraging her background in online business, the Institute has created resources to elevate their lives through a community-based organisation.
At Heart To Hand Institute, we are proud to have Nicholas as part of the team - a long-standing friend of Peter, who has shown a great desire to support and empower the kids in Peter’s care. Despite having learned all the tasks needed for responsible care of the little ones, since Peter's recent move to Canada, Nicholas has taken the reins and is doing an amazing job at our orphanage in Mityana, Uganda.
At Heart To Hand Institute, we have a wonderful team dedicated to taking care of vulnerable children. It all began 20 years ago when Moreen found Peter, our co-founder, who was a struggling orphan. She brought him home, giving him a chance to survive and grow. She is now taking care of Timothy and Patient and providing them with important life skills and lots of love. We are proud of Moreen and forever grateful for her kindness and generosity.
Heart To Hand Institute is proud to welcome Janepher to our team! She brings an incredible energy and enthusiasm to the organization, along with a deep and genuine commitment to helping our orphaned children reach their full potential. Janepher is an exemplary role model who guides and teaches our kids with kindness and a big heart. We are all thrilled to have her on board
